Jay has the foresight to plan for each client’s ideal future, and translate the risks and opportunities they will face, personally and financially. He has a vision for what the marketplace can bring to his clients, and how their investment portfolio can benefit from it.
Growing up, Jay was completely intrigued with the stock market and became an advisor because he has a true passion for helping his clients retire. He enjoys helping clients understand what their resources and money can do for them, when they set goals and follow them.
Jay spent 5 ½ years in the financial services industry before coming to Visionary Wealth Advisors. He made the move to Visionary for the opportunity to work on a better platform with Charles Schwab. He enjoys advising with an unbiased approach and having a fiduciary responsibility to his clients. He feels that Visionary allows him to give his clients the best opportunity to achieve their financial goals and a better quality of life for their family and future generations.
Jay has a Bachelor’s Degree in Entrepreneurship from St. Louis University, Investment Credentials and a Life & Health Insurance License. He has lived in St. Louis his entire life, and went to Whitfield School.
Jay is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™. To earn his CFP®, Jay completed a rigorous training program and passed a comprehensive exam.
Jay and his wife, Becca, currently reside in Ballwin and have two sons and a daughter. Jay coaches his 5-year-old son’s baseball team. The family loves the outdoors, especially camping and fishing. Jay is a deacon at Twin Oaks Presbyterian Church, and he supports the church’s missionaries, as well as Swing Fore Hope.
