As a Wealth Advisor, Tim Hanser helps clients articulate their financial goals and guides them down the path of accomplishing those goals. Tim is dedicated to helping families through their most important financial decisions. He enjoys the technical side of investment strategy, portfolio construction, and financial planning. Also, Tim’s ability to build a trusting relationship and to help families reach their financial goals is important to him.

Tim graduated from Yale in 1989 with an engineering degree. He then worked in Washington DC, first for Senator Jack Danforth, and then at St. Albans School, where he taught for six years. Tim then moved back home to work for the St. Louis Cardinals, most recently as a Vice President. After twelve years, Tim left baseball and organized a group of investors to purchase a St. Louis-based apparel company, which he ran as President until 2012. Then Tim transitioned into financial services and joined Visionary Wealth Advisors because of the commitment Visionary shows their clients.

Tim serves on numerous charitable boards including the St. Louis Cardinals Community Foundation, Cardinals Care, and Sunshine Ministries. Tim and his family live in St. Louis, MO. He spends his free time with his wife Margaret, and sons, Ward, and Sam. He enjoys fishing, music, and golf.
