As Wealth Management Advisor working with Brad Keene, Carter works directly with clients to help build and implement comprehensive financial plans, organize their finances, define their goals, and develop strategies around investments, retirement, taxes, and long-term planning. He was drawn to the financial services industry with the goal of helping people gain clarity, confidence, and control of their financial futures.

Before joining Visionary, Carter spent several years on the investment management side of the financial services industry at Ocean Park Asset Management, where he worked with financial advisors across the country. In that role, he partnered with advisors to support portfolio construction, risk management, and investment strategy for their clients. He currently holds his Series 6, Series 7, Series 63, and Series 65 licenses and is continuing to work towards expanding his professional credentials.

Originally from the Monterey Peninsula in California, Carter grew up around the game of golf, as his father works as a PGA professional. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business while playing Division I baseball at the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California. After graduating, he spent two seasons as a relief pitcher with the Gateway Grizzlies in Sauget, Illinois. Recently, Carter and his wife relocated to Chesterfield, Missouri, to be closer to family as they prepare to welcome their first child. Outside of work, he enjoys golfing, running, staying active, and spending quality time with family and friends.
