Jack is a member of The INSIGHT Group and the son of founding member, Selden Martin.  Jack expands the advice offering having practiced law as an attorney for the past nine years.  Jack’s prior legal experience includes commercial and financial services litigation for the Lewis Rice law firm; and most recently as in-house corporate counsel for a large private commodities-trading company.

Jack graduated with a bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Business Administration from Washington and Lee University in Virginia, where he was also a captain of the football team and attained several awards and records for his on-field performance.

Following an early career stint with Capital One Bank in McLean, Virginia, Jack pursued his law degree (J.D.) at St. Louis University Law School where he graduated at the top of his class and was the Articles Editor on the Saint Louis University Law Journal.

Jack lives in University City with his soon-to-be wife Lauren.  He enjoys spending time with his family and friends and playing and watching sports.
