As Wealth Management Advisor, Katie works hard to build client relationships and helps find financial solutions for each individual client. She works to provide peace of mind to individuals by offering financial education to get on a path to reaching financial goals. Katie’s hope as a Visionary is that she will be able to plant seeds today that grow into something of great value and purpose for her clients’ futures.
Prior to becoming a Visionary, Katie began her career in college as a teller at a local bank where she learned firsthand how important community, relationships, finances, and trust go hand in hand. She was an advisor for 10 years with the bank’s wealth management division and found that financial advice and planning was her perfect blend of personal relationships and numbers. Most recently she worked as an advisor tailoring financial strategies for a physician-only client base.
Katie is a graduate of Jackson High School and has lived in Jackson, MO, most of her life. She attended Southeast Missouri State University where she received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree with a major in Accounting, and currently holds her Series 7, 63, and 65 licenses, Life and Health Insurance licenses in addition to the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) designation. Katie is married to her high school sweetheart, Tyler, and they have three children, Cooper, Brynlie, and Rhett. Her family enjoys serving together and cheering on the kids in their extracurricular activities. In their free time, you can find them on their family farm fishing, feeding the animals, and taking in the beauty of nature.
Katie and her family support multiple charities but are most active in their church. With her husband, Tyler, as their church youth pastor, they both lead youth group weekly and organize monthly activities for the students. Katie also heavily supports the Missouri High School Rodeo Association and the National Little Britches Rodeo Association.
