Nick is a Senior Wealth Advisor with The INSIGHT Group, working directly with clients fulfilling goals-based, wealth management plans.
Nick has over 25 years of experience as a financial advisor and senior leader in the wealth management industry. He has enjoyed the opportunity in his leadership roles to have hired, trained, and coached many industry professionals and financial advisors. Prior to joining Visionary, Nick served on the executive team for an 85-year-old publicly traded financial services company where he oversaw 11 states in the Central Region of the U.S. Nick’s region was comprised of over 600 advisors and field employees who served thousands of wealth management clients. Nick’s responsibilities included regulatory oversight, client, and advisor educational public speaking engagements, and managing operational and growth-related aspects of the business. He served multiple consecutive years on the firm’s Leadership Council which was a small elite group of top performers recognized for outstanding results across all metrics by which they were measured.
In 2022, Nick joined The INSIGHT Group at Visionary Wealth Advisors. The decision to join the group was surprisingly an easy one as Nick has a two-decade long personal and working relationship with the founding partner of The INSIGHT Group, Selden Martin. The INSIGHT Group delivers advice in a fiduciary, non-conflicted framework of trust, service, and transparent communication. The overarching focus on client and family relationships based upon trust, integrity, and the technical competency necessary to serve clients at the highest level were just a few of the deciding factors. Prior to joining The INSIGHT Group, Nick and his wife Shari were clients. This experience firsthand from a client perspective only further reinforced his decision to join the firm.
Nick holds the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®) designation obtained through the American College for Financial Planning. Nick also holds his Series, 6, Series 7, Series 9, Series 10, Series 24, Series 63, Series 65, and Life and Health Insurance license.
Nick and his wife Shari have two children, one of which is employed in the investment industry, and their youngest is in college. The Miskovs are native to the St. Louis area and are very active in their local church parish and support various charitable foundations through service. Shari is also a team member of The INSIGHT Group and Nick has the pleasure of working side by side with her daily. Nick and Shari are lifelong Cardinal, Blues, and KC Chiefs fans. They even named their beautiful Golden Retriever “Chief”!
