Sr. Wealth Management Advisor
Rich is an experienced wealth advisor who helps his clients envision and achieve even bigger dreams for their lives than they may see on their own. He has built long-term relationships with clients from all walks of life, and especially enjoys working with physicians and entrepreneurs. He serves on Visionary’s Investment Committee, which meets monthly behind the scenes to review all client portfolios to ensure they are fully in line with their goals.
Rich works in our St. Louis office and spends the majority of his time serving clients in the Greater St. Louis area. Originally from Kirksville, Missouri, he also maintains client relationships throughout central and northeast Missouri and frequently makes the trip to meet with his clients face-to-face.
Rich entered the financial industry with a goal to run a business that would have a direct and positive impact on people’s lives. He built a solid practice as a wealth management advisor at another firm for more than 12 years before joining Visionary.
Rich made the decision to move his practice to Visionary for the opportunity to provide his clients unbiased advice, more options, more services, and the ability to do so at a lower fee. He felt Visionary allowed him to take his clients to the next level in terms of financial planning. He found that the quality and character of our firm was second to none and was eager to have the ability to truly act in a fiduciary manner for his clients, and have access to the best products and services available in the marketplace.
Rich has Bachelor's and Master's Degrees from the University of Missouri and earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation. Rich and his wife, Emily, live in Manchester, Missouri with their two children, Isabel and Michael. They enjoy exploring St. Louis as a family, traveling, and supporting their kids in all their activities. Rich loves sports, especially golf and tennis, and played on the Mizzou Tennis Team in college. He spends many Saturdays in the fall at Mizzou rooting for the Tigers.
