As a Senior Wealth Advisor, Mike Clark brings 15 years of financial planning experience to The Clark Group of Visionary Wealth Advisors. Previously, Mike was Senior Vice President - Investments of the Shiloh location of a large national independent advisory firm. His longevity in this field allows Mike to take pride in the fact that he has had many of his clients for over 10 years. Mike provides comprehensive financial planning which includes developing and monitoring allocations to ensure client’s assets are in alignment with their goals.
Growing up, Mike was drawn to the financial industry and knew he wanted to positively impact people from an early age. He never wanted to work on Wall Street or live in a big city, and instead has chosen to bring his passion for the industry to clients in the St. Louis area.
Mike chose to form The Clark Group of Visionary Wealth Advisors to help provide clarity and peace of mind to his clients. Mike strives to know his clients on a personal level to understand their goals and desires for the future. He loves seeing the passion in their eyes as they describe their future goals and dreams, and he works diligently with each individual, turning these goals and dreams into reality.
He is a Board Member of the Leadership Council Southwestern Illinois, a non-for-profit member-based economic development corporation representing Southwestern Illinois, primarily Madison and St. Clair counties. He is also a Board Member for Karla Smith Behavioral Health, a non-for-profit group that focuses on helping those in the St. Louis Metro area suffering from mental health, substance abuse, and people who have lost loved ones through death by suicide.
Mike earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Lindenwood University. He has two children, Nolan and Hadley. Mike and his family stay very active; he enjoys coaching his children’s sports teams, watching the St. Louis Cardinals, and occasionally, playing a round of golf.
