Scott grew up in Vandalia, Illinois, and came to the Metro East to attend Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, where he earned a degree in Business Administration—and, more importantly, met his wife. What began as a move for college became the place they would eventually choose to build their life, raise their four children and put down lasting roots.
Today, Scott and his family live in the Troy and St. Jacob community, where much of life revolves around family, church and youth sports. Whether coaching, cheering from the sidelines or spending time together at a Cardinals game, Scott values the relationships and sense of community that come from being actively involved in the place his family calls home.

Faith is also an important part of Scott’s life and shapes the way he thinks about stewardship, relationships and serving others. He believes financial success is about more than accumulating wealth—it’s about using resources thoughtfully to care for family, create opportunities and make a meaningful impact on the people and causes that matter most.

For Scott and his family, the Metro East has become far more than the place they live—it’s where they’ve chosen to raise their family, invest in their community and build the practice for the long term. While The Vieregge Group is deeply rooted in Troy and the Metro East, Scott works with individuals, families, business owners and organizations across the country.
