August 4th, 2021 — Visionary Wealth Advisors is seeking motivated, driven individuals for a Think Tank Analyst role, located in Edwardsville, IL, and for a part-time receptionist role in St. Louis, MO.
Think Tank Analyst
The Visionary Think Tank is responsible for managing assets of the firm including trading, billing, and portfolio management. The Analyst will work out of the Edwardsville, Illinois office and will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer. The Analyst will share responsibilities relating to data management, trading operations, and billing operations.
Key Responsibilities include assisting in daily trades within the Visionary managed portfolios including reoccurring trades, distributions, and out of balance thresholds; assisting in quarterly fee billing by monitoring and updating fee settings within Tamarac including advisory fees, excluded positions and accounts, and joint work splits. The individual will also be asked to review and approve account agreements and ensure proper data entry into Tamarac, complete work order requests for model comparisons, and manage various compliance policies and procedures as it relates to client accounts and ensure accordance with Securities and Exchange Commission guidelines.
The candidate must have an undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration. Series 65 registration is a plus; Series 65 exam must be successfully passed within 9 months of employment. Candidate must also be highly proficient at Microsoft Office Suite, can work independently on various projects simultaneously, have strong analytical and interpersonal skills, strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

St. Louis Receptionist
Visionary is also seeking an energetic, client facing, part-time (30 hours per week) receptionist and administrative professional for their St. Louis office.
Key responsibilities include greeting and welcoming visitors and notifying appropriate individual of visitor’s arrival, answer incoming calls and route to appropriate individual, retrieve, sort and deliver mail, maintain clean and organized common office space, send outgoing faxes and route incoming faxes to appropriate individuals, and act as building maintenance liaison with property management company. The individual will also need to provide technology support for key devices including the phone system and copy machine, maintain and order office supplies, process investment checks, and assist with paperwork and account applications.
The candidate must have a high school diploma, 2-3 years of experience in an office environment, proficient with Office 365 suite, strong analytical and interpersonal skills, excellent verbal and written communication, and have a professional attitude, demeanor, and appearance. A notary is preferred, but not required.
