Joe has a special interest in the retirement area of financial planning. The majority of people who come to him don’t know if they’re on track, and he enjoys providing analysis to show them where they are in relationship to their goals. He especially enjoys encouraging younger clients to start planning their retirement sooner.
Joe always loved the financial world and grew up intrigued with how the stock market worked, and the idea of money making money was very appealing. His parents were heavily invested in the stock market, and did well, which instilled the desire to be a part of that, and help others also become successful.
Before entering the financial services industry, Joe played professional soccer for 13 years, with the St. Louis Ambush, the Milwaukee Wave and the St. Louis Steamers. He was a Financial Representative for seven and a half years before coming to Visionary Wealth Advisors.
Joe has a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.
Joe and his wife, Kim, recently built a house in St. Jacob, Illinois. Their daughter, Jordyn, attends McKendree University. Joe runs Gateway FC Soccer Club, which includes 32 boys’ and girls’ youth teams. They practice at Reiniger Memorial Soccer Park, named after his late parents. Joe and Kim are members of St. Stephen’s Church in Caseyville.
