Kent Kobernus joined the financial services industry in 2017 and serves as a Wealth Management Advisor working with Elizabeth Connelly. Prior to joining The Connelly Group at Visionary Wealth Advisors, Kent worked at a major financial institution. Prior to that, he worked in the engineering field as a Mechanical Systems Design and Analysis Engineer. An engineer by training gives Kent the opportunity to simplify complexity, clarify uncertainty, and deliver tangible value to clients. He believes that anticipatory service is the foundation of client relationships. He works with each client and adds specialists as needed to serve their unique needs, values, and goals. Utilizing consistent processes, clear communication and unwavering service, Kent provides integrated advice, analysis, and customized wealth strategy that can help clients achieve their goals most efficiently.

Kent graduated from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE) with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Mathematics. He was captain and member of the SIUE men’s soccer team. Kent is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER ™. He has his FINRA Series 7, Series 66 and Life and Health licenses.

Kent lives in St. Louis. Outside the office, he is an avid sports fan and fitness enthusiast. He enjoys spending time with his family and friends.
